بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للكتاب… أردت أن أُضيء على أهمية العلم للفتاة
في هذا اليوم الذي يُحتفى فيه بالكتاب والمعرفة، نُدرك أن الكلمة الأولى التي تغيّر العالم تبدأ من عقلٍ يقرأ، ومن فتاةٍ تُمنح حقها في العلم.
تعليم الفتاة ليس تفصيلًا اجتماعيًا، بل هو ركيزة أساسية في بناء أي مجتمع يسعى إلى النهوض. فالفتاة المتعلّمة لا ترتقي بنفسها فقط، بل تزرع الوعي في بيتها، وتُنشئ جيلاً أكثر فكرًا واتزانًا وقدرة على التغيير.
إن الأم المتعلّمة هي مدرسة أولى، تصنع العقول قبل أن تُدرّسها المدارس، وتؤسس لثقافةٍ تمتد آثارها عبر أجيال. ولهذا فإن الاستثمار في تعليم الفتاة هو استثمار في مستقبل المجتمع كله، لا في فرد واحد.
لقد أثبتت التجارب أن المجتمعات التي أعطت المرأة حقها في التعليم، هي الأكثر تقدّمًا واستقرارًا، لأن العلم حين يصل إلى الفتاة يتحوّل إلى وعيٍ عام، وإلى نهضةٍ شاملة لا تتوقف عند حدود الفرد.
إننا لا نتحدث عن تمييز بين فتاة وفتى، بل عن عدالة تُعيد التوازن، وتؤكد أن المعرفة حق للجميع، وأن المجتمع لا ينهض بنصفه، بل بكامله.

On the occasion of International Book Day… I wanted to highlight the importance of education for girls
On this day, when books and knowledge are celebrated, we realize that the first word that changes the world begins with a reading mind, and with a girl who is given her right to education.
Educating girls is not a social detail, but a fundamental pillar in building any society that seeks progress. An educated girl does not only elevate herself; she plants awareness within her home and raises a generation that is more thoughtful, balanced, and capable of change.
An educated mother is the first school—she shapes minds before schools even teach them, and establishes a culture whose impact extends across generations. Therefore, investing in girls’ education is an investment in the future of society as a whole, not in an individual alone.
Experiences have proven that societies which have granted women their right to education are the most developed and stable, because when knowledge reaches a girl, it transforms into collective awareness and a comprehensive renaissance that does not stop at the individual level.
We are not speaking about discrimination between girls and boys, but about justice that restores balance, affirming that knowledge is a right for all, and that society does not rise with half of its members, but with all of them.
